Budapest's Green Revolution: How does the city government shape the perception of residents? What impact does the development of sustainable urban green spaces have on the mindset of residents? How can a city in a politically and financially difficult situation still become greener and more livable? According to the view of the chief landscape architect of Budapest, a small budget is not an obstacle, but an opportunity for innovation and community involvement. The presentation shows through three exciting examples how the beekeepers' campaign became a national debate, how the highway-like embankment on the Danube bank is being transformed into a community space, and how a parking lot became a green oasis in the heart of Budapest. If you are interested in how a city government can influence the mindset and habits of residents – this presentation is not worth missing!
